What is Community?
Community is the section of the GoMining app for ecosystem news, posts from other users, and what the community is up to right now. You can read the news and the posts, react to them, and share stories of your own.
Why don't I see Community?
The section is opening in stages, so it reaches some accounts later than others.
There is nothing for you to do. You do not need to update the app: Community appears on its own once it reaches your account.
Who can post?
Whether you can post, and how many posts you get, may depend on your VIP level. See VIP program.
Until posting opens for you, you can still read everything and react to it.
Why isn't my post published yet?
Every post is checked by a moderator before it goes live. While a post is under review, you are the only one who can see it. If it is rejected, you are told why.
If 24 hours pass and your post has neither appeared nor been rejected with a reason, contact our support team at [email protected].
What does the online counter show?
How many people have opened the app over the past few hours.
How do I report a post or a user?
Tap the … button on the post, or on the user's profile, and choose Report post or Report user.
A moderator reviews every report. If someone is breaking the rules, the moderator can hide what they posted or close their access to posting.
How do I hide a post or a user I don't want to see?
Tap the … button on the post, or on the user's profile, and choose Block user. Their posts stop appearing for you.
You can see everyone you have blocked in your profile, and unblock them there.
What rules apply in Community?
The Terms of Use, section 8.8 Community, and the Privacy Policy.
A moderator can reject or hide content, and close access to posting, when the rules are broken.
